Job Description:

Cynomi, a leading cybersecurity startup, is seeking a talented Sales Development Representative (SDR) in Greater Boston to join our team. Our innovative SaaS solution is designed to empower non-cyber professionals to handle cybersecurity management efforts effectively. Our award-winning platform is now used by over 100 of our partners including 2 Fortune 500 companies and a Top-5 global consultancy.

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Cynomi, you will play a critical role in driving our company’s growth by identifying and engaging potential clients. Your primary responsibility will be to prospect and qualify potential partners, develop interest through various campaigns and setting meetings for the sales team.

Your efforts will contribute significantly to expanding our customer base and strengthening Cynomi’s position as a leading cybersecurity provider.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the addressable market that meets Cynomi’s ideal partner profile.
  • Set the pace for the Channel team as a top performer by prospecting and engaging with potential partners (MSP’s, MSSP’s, vCISO’s, Resellers, etc.)
  • Identify needs, qualify, and introduce Cynomi’s offering.
  • Execute daily goals and metrics regarding calls made, emails sent, accounts, sourced, etc.
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective partners and our sales team.
  • Work closely with our SDRs and sales team to hand-off leads and ensure proper follow-up.   

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal including professional verbal and written skills.
  • Motivation, determination, and perseverance.
  • Creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
  • Time management and personal organization.
  • Proven success in SDR or sales position (Min 9-month previous experience)
  • Knowledge of industry-standard sales technologies, such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

Objectives of this Role

  • Represent Cynomi, starting with a comprehensive understanding of how our solution solves the pains of our partners and our partners’ clients.
  • Generate leads and build relationships both by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential ones.
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for the next steps.
  • Identify best practices to refine our sales playbooks.
  • Execute daily goals and metrics regarding calls made, emails sent, accounts touched, etc. through cold calling, email, and LinkedIn activities, to generate new opportunities.
  • Qualify leads from marketing as sales opportunities.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
