Manager of Event Operations
About The Position
We are looking for a passionate, collaborative, and results-driven manager with experience in organizing conferences, events, or trade shows to join our Channel team. In this role, you will work closely with the Chief Evangelist of Community and Channel to drive the success of Cynomi's channel strategies. - Oversee the execution, and management of event and sponsorship offerings, ensuring efficient product delivery and inventory management
- Implement and execute Cynomi’s channel engagement strategies to foster growth and strengthen relationships
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic projects, identifying key initiatives that align with company goals
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with partners, channel members, and the MSP community, promoting long-term partnerships and growth

Operating across three continents, Cynomi is leading the vCISO (virtual Chief Information Security Officer) market category with rapidly growing demand for its AI-powered vCISO platform, which empowers service providers (MSPs and MSSPs) to provide high quality cybersecurity services to their customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Chief Evangelist of Community and Channel to gain a deep understanding of their vision and event requirements, offering expert guidance on logistics, planning, and execution.
- Lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and execution of events, ensuring that every detail is meticulously managed from conception to completion.
- Ensuring all costs are tracked, documented, and adhered to for accurate financial management.
- Manage the selection and coordination of event venues, catering services, entertainment, and other essential event elements to ensure a seamless experience.
- Collaborate with event and venue staff, as well as other service providers, to ensure flawless event operations and a high standard of service delivery.
- Develop comprehensive event timelines and schedules, keeping all stakeholders informed and prepared for successful execution.
- Oversee on-site event coordination, swiftly addressing any issues or challenges that arise to ensure smooth event operations.
- Capture and track leads during events to drive business opportunities and follow-up actions.
- Schedule and manage product demos during events to engage attendees and showcase offerings effectively.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing and other departments to integrate events into broader campaigns, maximizing impact and reach.
- Key performance indicators for this role include the retention and growth of exhibit and sponsorship revenue, partner satisfaction, and overall event success.
- Represent the company as a spokesperson for speaking engagements, as requested by the Chief Evangelist.

- Proven track record in event management and execution, with a history of successful, high-impact events.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively, even under pressure, ensuring flawless event execution.
- Receptive to feedback and open to acting on constructive criticism to continuously improve performance.
- Strong documentation skills, with a keen ability to efficiently manage financial and logistical aspects of events.
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in fast-paced environments.
- Outstanding customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for all prospects and partners throughout every stage of an event.
- Quick to learn new technologies and comfortable communicating about them confidently with others.
- Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as needed for events.
- 60% travel, 40% remote work flexibility.
- Available to work nights and weekends as required to support events and ensure their success.
- Experience in digital and social media marketing is a plus, but not a requirement.
