MSP Distributor Account Manager
About The Position
As the MSP Distributor Account Manager, your main responsibility will be to develop outbound business activities. These will include recruitment, enablement, expansion, and upselling to a set of Tier-Two Managed Security Service Providers, working through our MSP Distribution partners.

Operating across three continents, Cynomi is leading the vCISO (virtual Chief Information Security Officer) market category with rapidly growing demand for its AI-powered vCISO platform, which empowers service providers (MSPs and MSSPs) to provide high quality cybersecurity services to their customers.
Key Responsibilities
- As a cross-functional lead, works with MSP Distribution teams to manage multi-year MSSP distribution contracts
- On a global scale, oversee growth for MSP Distributor partners across all Cynomi product lines
- Creates region-specific business plans with assigned MSP Distributors aligned to the global and regional objective
- Responsible for organizing and driving partner enablement to MSP Distributors and their downstream MSP partners
- Collaborates with the partner marketing team to create effective campaigns that generate a strong MSP/MSSP pipeline
- The key metric for success is the penetration of the distributor's network of MSPs/MSSPs
- Ensure executive alignment across assigned MSP Distributors and Cynomi Executive teams
Requirements
- College degree or university education
- 5+ years of above-quota sales experience, preferably as a Regional Sales Executive/Manager selling cybersecurity to MSPs
- Deep knowledge of current security solutions
- Experience working with MSP Distributors
- Global distribution experience
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally
- Ability to engage with a variety of technical and business leaders
- Enterprise sales experience with an actionable Rolodex of decision-makers
- Superb organizational and reporting skills
- Experience with growing the sales enablement function to support sales in a rapidly evolving and competitive marketplace
