Channel Account Manager

About The Position

As a New Business Channel Account Manager for Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs), you will be responsible for outbound business development activities aimed at delivering new partnerships to Cynomi.

Cynomi is a fast-growing, Silicon Valley VC-backed cybersecurity startup. Experiencing massive growth over the past year, our SaaS product is used by hundreds of service providers worldwide. 

Operating across three continents, Cynomi is leading the vCISO (virtual Chief Information Security Officer) market category with rapidly growing demand for its AI-powered vCISO platform, which empowers service providers (MSPs and MSSPs) to provide high quality cybersecurity services to their customers. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for acquiring new Tier 1 MSP/MSSP Partner logos, specializing in vertical and horizontal markets with 20-500 accounts under management.
  • A successful Channel Account Manager for new business in MSSP will create a list of target partners, engage with prospects, present the value proposition of Cynomi, collaborate with the systems engineering team for proof of concepts, and onboard new partners while meeting MSP/MSSP contractual requirements and pricing standards
  • The Commercial Channel Account Manager is responsible for generating initial subscription revenue and partner enablement and partner growth.
  • Collaborates closely with the Global Channel Programs & Strategy team, marketing, and product teams to develop and execute successful Lead Generation and Go-to-Market campaigns, ensuring overall sales excellence in a competitive market
  • Candidates should have previous experience selling cybersecurity products through Managed Security Service Providers

Requirements

  • BS technical degree or equivalent
  • 5+ years of above-quota sales experience, preferably selling cybersecurity solutions to MSP/MSSPs
  • Deep knowledge of current security solutions
  • Experience working with Managed Security Service Providers
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally. Ability to engage with a variety of technical and business leaders
  • Enterprise sales experience with an actionable Rolodex of decision-makers
  • Superb organizational and reporting skills
  • Experience in rapidly evolving, competitive markets, growing sales enablement function to support sales
  • "Whatever it takes" attitude and motivation to deliver above-quota performance
