Cybersecurity Integration Analyst

Cynomi is a fast-growing, Silicon Valley VC-backed cybersecurity startup. Experiencing massive growth over the past year, our SaaS product is used by hundreds of service providers worldwide.

Operating across three continents, Cynomi is leading the vCISO (virtual Chief Information Security Officer) market category with rapidly growing demand for its AI-powered vCISO platform, which empowers service providers (MSPs and MSSPs) to provide high quality cybersecurity services to their customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research, analyze, and evaluate new data sources, structured and unstructured, to determine their relevance and feasibility for integration into Cynomi’s platform
  • Map external data to Cynomi’s framework, ensuring accurate representation of values and fields across the platform
  • Develop and refine AI prompts in collaboration with the AI research team to improve automation and efficiency in data integration workflows
  • Drive innovation by creating scalable solutions that enhance the product’s automation capabilities
  • Utilize ETL tools to process and integrate simple data sources into the platform independently
  • Explore, simulate, and manipulate datasets using various database systems to identify patterns, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data accuracy
  • Gain cybersecurity, IT, and threat intelligence expertise to support effective data integration and alignment with domain-specific requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integrations and data flows
  • Conduct regular reviews of integrations to identify opportunities for improvement and scalability
  • Work closely with product managers, content teams, and developers to align integration efforts with business objectives
  • Document integration processes and provide training to relevant stakeholders


Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in a role related to cybersecurity data analysis
  • A degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including vulnerabilities, malware, threat intelligence, and incident response and proven work with data like security events, alerts, CVEs, IOCs, and configurations
  • Strong analytical skills, with advanced Excel and database (SQL, NoSQL, or similar) querying proficiency
  • Experience working with ETL tools – advantage
  • Familiarity with AI tools and the ability to craft and optimize prompts for automation
  • Strong English skills, as every team member works with remote cross-functional teams based in the UK and the US
  • Curious and proactive attitude with a passion for continuous learning and staying updated on emerging threats and technologies
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Passion to build things from the ground up
