About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and lead the design, implementation, and management of our infrastructure. As a key member of the technical team, you will focus on AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Your role will ensure that our systems are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance while fostering collaboration between development and operations teams.

Operating across three continents, Cynomi is leading the vCISO (virtual Chief Information Security Officer) market category with rapidly growing demand for its AI-powered vCISO platform, which empowers service providers (MSPs and MSSPs) to provide high quality cybersecurity services to their customers.

Key Responsibilities

AWS Infrastructure:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure AWS environments
• Utilize key AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and IAM
• Monitor and optimize AWS resources for performance and cost efficiency

Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes for rapid and reliable releases

Containerization and Orchestration:

• Leverage Docker for application containerization
• Manage and orchestrate containerized applications with Kubernetes

Infrastructure as Code (IaC):

• Implement and manage IaC using tools like Terraform
• Maintain version-controlled infrastructure for scalability and reproducibility

Security Practices:

• Apply security best practices across the infrastructure and application lifecycle
• Conduct regular audits and address vulnerabilities proactively

Collaboration:

• Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration
• Effectively communicate technical challenges and solutions to stakeholders

Requirements

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role
• Proficiency in managing and optimizing AWS infrastructure and services
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Jenkins
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools such as Terraform
• Solid understanding of security best practices and application lifecycle management
• Experience managing and optimizing multiversion infrastructure
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written)

Advantages

• Advanced knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby
