Public API FAQs
Unlike standard integrations that are limited to specific vendors, the Cynomi Public API is platform-agnostic. It allows you to build connections to any PSA including ConnectWise, Datto Autotask, ServiceNow and Halo PSA . ticketing system, or GRC tool your team uses, providing maximum flexibility for your unique tech stack.
This feature is ideal for operationally MSPs and MSSPs that have internal development resources or dedicated operations teams. It is designed for partners who need to build custom workflows to manage complex environments at scale.
The API allows data to flow two ways. It can “push” a new remediation task from Cynomi into your ticketing system, and it can “pull” a status update (e.g., “Complete”) from your ticketing system back into Cynomi. This ensures both systems remain a single source of truth.
The Public API complements our native integrations. While native integrations offer a “turnkey” solution for specific tools, the Public API offers the freedom to build custom, deep integrations tailored to your specific operational requirements and workflows.
