Frequently Asked Questions
Assessment Experience & Workflow
How does Cynomi's new assessment experience work?
Cynomi's new assessment experience allows you to start with a scope that fits your engagement, build reusable templates for service tiers, frameworks, or client types, and apply them across clients. You can select frameworks for each client and update their scope or frameworks at any time. The platform uses the Company Profile, connected scans, integrations, and uploaded documents to suggest answers with confidence levels and reasoning. You review and confirm suggestions individually or in bulk, and the final answer is always yours. Note: Scope, frameworks, and templates can be updated as the engagement evolves, and no completed work is lost. Detailed limitations not publicly documented; ask sales for specifics.
Can I change a client's scope or frameworks after the assessment has started?
Yes. Scope, frameworks, and templates can all be updated as the engagement evolves. Cynomi shows you the impact of a change before you confirm it, so no completed work is lost. Note: Existing client accounts keep their current task list unless you choose to edit their scope.
Are AI Suggestions applied automatically during assessments?
No. Cynomi suggests answers wherever it has relevant signals from the Company Profile, connected scans, integrations, and uploaded documents, along with a confidence level and reasoning. You review and confirm suggestions individually or in bulk, and the final answer is always yours to set. Note: AI suggestions are not applied automatically; user confirmation is required.
Do I have to use one of Cynomi's templates for assessments?
No. You can start a new client from a Cynomi-provided template, adapt one, build your own from the task library, or start without a template at all. Note: Template use is optional and flexible.
What happens to my existing client accounts with the new assessment experience?
Existing client accounts keep the exact task list they have today—nothing is added or removed, and there's no template to choose. Answers, statuses, notes, and history carry across untouched, and you can still edit any client's scope whenever you need to. Note: No changes are made unless you choose to edit the scope.
Is the new assessment experience available now?
Yes. Cynomi's new assessment experience is available to all partners as of version 3.44.0, released September 2026. Note: Availability is limited to partners using version 3.44.0 or later.
